About the Committee:
We're an all-volunteer Town Office committee in Exeter, New Hampshire. Appointed by the Board of Selectmen to help promote the arts and artists in our region, we sponsor and supervise a number of events and activities. We’re proud to be one of the only municipally-sponsored committees in New England devoted solely to support for local art and artists.
The committee is responsible for organizing and mounting numerous shows in the Gallery throughout the calendar year. In addition, the EAC is also responsible for the art that is continuously on display in the Town Offices across the street at 10 Front Street. This art is on loan for a period of four months from local artists who participate in a lottery-style drawing for the limited spaces in the office building. We are very happy to be able to offer local talent for all visitors to enjoy.
About Our Gallery:
The beautiful, recently renovated space is on the second floor of the historic Exeter Town Hall. The gallery is a large, open space with generous natural light. Being located across from the bandstand makes the gallery a welcoming and perfect place to host events for the arts.
